Why the **** am I not informed…
*just a random rambling*
It all started out with a “i-want-to-go-visit-the-Enchanted-River-and-Tinuy-an rant”.
Later that evening, an SMS from Igor excited me mucho! We’re planning a Surigao Adventure aka Tinuy-an and Enchanted river day tour the next week.
The first minute of November 23,2010, me, along with my fun-loving officemates agreed to meet up at McDonald’s Bajada for the ultimate roadtrip. My then fiance only agreed to go on the trip for some photo ops for our coming wedding. Little did we know, it will be one hell of an adventure!
By 1am, we were on our way to Surigao. Some were sleeping, some laughing, some catching up, some waiting for the glimpse of Surigao (me included!). Since it was a smooth ride and a comfy van, we arrived Bislig by 5am. Great, we had the extra time to sit by the Bislig Baywalk. Their beach isn’t the best I have ever seen, but the sound of rolling tides are always soothing to my weary soul…
At 6am, we went to a prearranged local eatery who prepared our sumptuous breakfast. Eggs, steamed rice, sausages and hot beverages were feasted to our heart’s delight. After that hearty breakfast, we headed to Tinuy-an Falls.
It was indeed magical. The long stretch of rich waterfalls made me say a gazillion silent p rayers of thanks to our Creator. Thank You Lord I’m alive. Thank You Lord I am healthy to endure that 5 hours of landtrip. Thank You Lord for blessing me with work that enables me to wander out and about. Thank you Lord for the company of good friends. It was indeed beyond words. The challenging trail to the top was so worth it.When it was our time to come down, we decided to enjoy the scenery and experience the locally made raft. It was fun. It was perfect for team building. It was amazing indeed.
We took turns in subjecting ourselves to that strong waterfalls, masochistically delish. Picture after picture. We even gave a shot at swimming through the current ( a must try, in a good weather). I highly recommend bringing in some baon though, food isn’t available at the place. and you will surely be hungry after all the swimming and trekking.
After all the swimming and laughing and eating it was time to go and off to another destination, Enchanted River.
We stopped by the local eatery because we have pre-arranged lunch meals with them. Lo and behold! Heaps and heaps of prawns and tinolang malasugue was served for us. It was as if I was just smack at home. We helped ourselves for another sumptuous meal. And before we knew it, we were off for another destination.
Enchanted River is located in Hinatuan, an estimated hour away from Tinuy-an Falls. We arrived at the resort after lunch and there were locals enjoying the resort as well. In the walls were little what nots about the wonders of Enchanted River. In reference to the past pictures I saw, improvement and development was evident. Signages, entrance fees and even tours are offered. We availed of the ten-peso life jacket so that we can experience swimming in the deep blue waters.
It’s a must for turistas and adventuristas to bring snorkel sets. What you can see underwater is something far beyond imagination.I have seen big fishes, schools of fishes and other creatures in the unknown depths of the sea. Also seen tables serving seafoods, but I can’t say if it was served at the resort. Locals do have little sari-sari stores outside the gate. Never ever miss the chance of taking a dip in the pool-like wonder. Numerous comfort rooms and dressing rooms are available at the place. Sadly, after hours of swimming and peeping through the waterworld, it was time for us to go.
Memories 0f this trip are always the sweetest. From the company of good friends, to laugh trip, to foodtrip and nature trip. Truly,it was all worth my time and a portion of my hard earned moolah!
Got inspired by Girltalkers to start up a photoblog for 365 days…

SSB: Seven Days before Sarangani Baby!
I always loved coffee shops. Long before I realized thay are damn pricey. But one criteria why I love them is that they are armed with such lovely comfort rooms:-)
My top 3 goes to:
1. FAGIOLI Coffee Shop. (right across Concentrix, Bajada)
They’ve got the anito tissue rolls. They also have the water fountain. So clean and so homey. I want this for my home!
2. CHICCO de CAFE : Roxas Street
Inside the room. A cologne, some lotion, tissue paper, moisturizer, paper towels and surprise, a Mouthwash. And there’s more, you can party inside the CR because even a party of five can fit,:-)
3. JACK’s RIDGE TAKLOBO Restaurant ( Hey they serve coffee)
Imagine taking some time off with the view of the metro, live. Their walls are open halfway so that you see DAvao street lights. Tatally, mesmerizing1 <3
And I cried again…gisungog na nuon ko ni Darwin…I thought I was the happiest that day, I was wrong, I am getting happier and happier everyday! :-) Dmd:-) I’ll see you in three days Mr. Diaz…
I love oreos. Psychologists have discovered a connection between how you eat your oreos and your personality…Warning: it has some slight humor. So don’t take it offensively, and may not be accurate! But see for yourself!
If you eat it this way…
1. The whole thing.
This means you consume life with abandon. You are fun to be with, exciting, and carefree with some hint of recklessness.
2. One bite at a time.
You are lucky to be one of the 5.4 billion other people who eat their Oreos this very same way. Just like them, you lack imagination, but that’s okay, not to worry, you’re normal.
3. Slow and Methodical.
You follow the rules. You’re very tidy and orderly. You’re very meticulous in every detail with every thing you do. People like you oughta stay out of the fast lane if you’re only going to go the speed limit.
4. Feverous Nibbles.
You have a tendency to work too much and do too much. You always have a million things to do and never enough time to do them. Stop reading this and get things done already!
5. Dunked.
Every one likes you because you are always upbeat. But, dunking is a messy business and you can be untidy at times.
6. Twisted apart, the inside, and then the cookie.
You have a highly curious nature. You take pleasure in breaking things apart to find out how they work, though not always able to put them back together, so you destroy all the evidence of your activities.
7. Twisted apart, the inside, and then toss the cookie.
You take risks that pay off. You take what you want and throw the rest away.
8. Just the cookie, not the inside.
You enjoy pain.
9. I just like to lick them, not eat them.
Stay away from small furry animals and seek professional medical help - immediately.
10. I don’t have a favorite way. I don’t like Oreo cookies.
You probably come from a rich family, and like to wear nice things, and go to up-scale restaurants. You are particular and fussy about the things you buy, own, and wear. Things have to be just right. You like to be pampered. You are a prima donna. There’s just no pleasing you. Why are you here with us little people?
